Brent is an explorer at heart, with a lifelong curiosity for what lies beneath the waves, but his path hasn’t been a straight line. After serving as an infantryman in the U.S. Army in 2005, he earned an engineering degree and went on to lead major energy projects before starting his own company. But it was SCUBA diving that reignited his drive to explore.

Since 2018, Brent has gone deep, both literally and figuratively. Now a certified cave and rebreather diver, he documents remote underwater environments to inspire and educate others. His videos, shared under Brent Dives, encourage a global audience to appreciate and protect what lies beneath the surface.

But Brent wanted to do more than just explore, he wanted to build something lasting. That vision, shared by his teammates, led to co-founding Divers Atlas.

And while he's proud of the work he does above and below the surface, Brent's favorite role is at home, as a husband to Sarah and dad to their daughter, Lena.
